Secure your data with by setting access levels for staff
Two Way Authentication
Our software also provides a fully customizable access control to a different login. Stealing a staff member’s User ID and password for getting access to the software is also a common issue faced by salon owners. The two factor authentication feature in our software is an additional tool that will help you to avoid such types of problems by restricting access. For instance, if someone is trying to correct email and password to get access, the system will email a 6 digit code to the set owner email (admin) that will help confirm a genuine case of forgetting password or email. If you think this is right, then share that code with that user, otherwise simply change the password yourself to avoid further attempt.
Rights of Access
Booking In Time lets you manage authorizations for each staff separately. A default owner (admin) will have all levels of access, who can set rights of access for location admins & employees in general.
Securing Client Data
Client data is one of the most valuable pieces of information for salon owners. At your salon you may have to face a working staff member who had secretly downloaded the client data prior to his/her resignation/separation. In our system, you as the owner and sole admin, can set rights of access for working staff and restrict certain things, such as downloading or viewing customer personal data. You can also set other authorizations such as editing rosters and deleting attendance. This is one of our primary features and loved by all of our customers.
SSL/TSL security enabled.
SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer and, in short, it's the standard technology for keeping an internet connection secure and safeguarding any sensitive data that is being sent between two systems, preventing criminals from reading and modifying any information transferred, including potential personal details. If SSL is present on the site, you will see https:// at the start of the web address rather than the http:// (the extra "s" stands for "secure").
Transport Layer Security (TLS) is an updated and more secure protocol. It works in much the same way as the SSL, using encryption to protect the transfer of data and information.
